We’re excited to invite our fans and customer’s to participate in the Cuddle-up Campaign this holiday season through the last day of our 12 Days of Christmas giveaway! In the spirit of the season, for every entry we get in this final day of our 12 Days of Christmas we will donate a blanket to local non-profits helping vulnerable, at-risk children.

We would love to share the warmth and comfort of our blankets with children in need so please help spread the word and have your friends and family participate in today’s contest. Stay tuned after the holidays, and we’ll let you know which organizations we were able to help.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month & The Cuddle-up Campaign

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we launched our “Pink Ribbon Jumbo Cuddle” blanket. For every Ambajam “Pink Ribbon” blanket sold we will be donating blankets, through the Cuddle-up Campaign, to children whose parents are going through cancer. We hope that the blankets will offer the children comfort and hope during a difficult time in their young lives.

In addition to the Pink Ribbon blanket we have joined with renowned photographer, Kathy Tartakoff to create “The Perfect Gift Set” for those dealing with Breast Cancer: “A Book, A Blanket and A Blessing”. The gift set features our Pink Ribbon blanket, a copy of Katy’s amazing book, “Cup Half Full – Life in The Face of Cancer” and a bookmark with a blessing. It is often hard to know what to give someone dealing with such a difficult situation and we feel this gift set is meaningful, inspiring, life affirming and comforting.

Aside from the blanket donations, Katy Tartakoff will be donating 30% of the book proceeds to Breast Cancer awareness and advocacy organizations. Quantities are limited so help us make a difference and purchase “The Perfect Gift Set” for yourself or someone you know.

What’s up with the Cuddle-up?

It has always been important to us to give back which is why we were so excited to launch the “Cuddle-Up Campaign” last year. We kicked off the campaign by partnering with The Starlight Foundation to get blankets into the hands of children they work with in the Denver area. What a wonderful thing it was to see the joy on the faces of these young patients when they received their Ambajam Cuddle-up blanket.

Since then we have expanded our “cuddle” reach to working with orphanages in Ethiopia and Nicaragua, The Children’s Defense Fund NYC, a new Head Start program in the Bronx and a non-profit called China Dreams which was started by a 10 year old adopted Chinese girl named Emily.

For every blanket that is purchased, Ambajam sets aside blankets to be donated. Remember that when you purchase an Ambajam blanket you are doing your part to help disadvantaged children experience the joy and comfort that these blankets can bring.

No, it has nothing to do with provocative video tapes! The heiress Paris Hilton and Ambajam are both teaming up with The Starlight Foundation to help bring smiles to children.

The Ambajam Cuddle-Up Campaign will give a soft signature blanket for every blanket purchased from now until Feb. 14, 2010. Click here to view the yummy colors and purchase one of your own!

Hilton along with Corbin Bleu, Demi Lovato and Colbie Caillat have designed Starlight T-shirts that will be sold at Forever 21 stores. Proceeds will also go toward helping The Starlight Foundation.
